Why Recruit GSAS Students and Alumni?

One of the oldest and most distinguished graduate schools in the United States, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences administers Master’s and doctoral programs in a broad range of disciplines and interdisciplinary fields. Examples include MA programs in Statistics, Mathematics of Finance, Economics, Global Thought, Human Rights Studies, various regional studies programs, and Biotechnology, and PhD programs in the natural sciences (e.g. Physics, Chemistry, Biological Sciences), social sciences (e.g. Psychology, Sociology, History), and humanities (e.g. Philosophy, English & Comparative Literature, East Asian Languages & Cultures). Please click the following links to view a full list of our 47 Master’s programs and 31 doctoral programs.

Our students and graduates are part of a global community and are available for internships during the summer (and in some cases during the academic year), as well as for full-time opportunities in New York City, across the United States, and internationally. Learn more about our school and our students here.

Recruiters and hiring managers have the opportunity to engage with students with diverse academic backgrounds who have quantitative and qualitative research and analytical skills; unique subject matter expertise; a deep capacity for critical inquiry, creative and collaborative problem-solving, and independent thinking; and a commitment to long-term projects. Our graduate programs offer ample opportunities for students to develop their capacity to contribute to and lead in a pluralistic society.
