The GSAS Writing Studio offers workshops and events for Arts and Sciences graduate students throughout the year. Studio programs cover a range of topics from making a semester plan to building community with fellow graduate students. Our full slate of Summer 2026 programming begins Monday, June 1. "On Wednesdays We Write" is back for Summer 2026! Modeled after our popular Dissertation Writing Retreats, these one-day mini-retreats are designed to support thesis and dissertation writers aiming to make significant writing progress in a short, focused burst. Learn more and register here.

Remote Writing Retreats

Applications are now open for the GSAS Writing Studio's two-day Remote Writing Retreats. Modeled after our popular Dissertation Writing Retreats, these two-day remote retreats are designed to support thesis and dissertation writers aiming to make significant writing progress from anywhere. Local writers are free to work in-person in the mezzanine, though the retreat will be facilitated remotely on Zoom. Learn more and register here.
