About this event:
On October 30th, the Columbia M.P.S. in Insurance Management program is excited to host a panel discussion among three leaders of investment in the insurance ecosystem. Ritendra Roy, Managing Director, Investment Banking/Financial Institutions Group at Oppenheimer & Co., will be moderating a discussion with Stephen Marquardt, Managing Director at BV Investment Partners, and Joe Metzger, Managing Director at GCM Grosvenor, about the intersection of equity investment and insurance services, and the convergence between alternative asset managers and annuity insurers, two areas that have marked significant growth. The future of these trends may bring even more opportunity for interaction among insurance and investment professionals in light of potential investments around impactful AI and technology developments in insurance, as well as considerations driven by external market factors like tariffs.
