Seminar title: A Biopsychosocial-Spiritual Framework for Studying the Sleep Health Exposome Description: Sleep – essential for human health and wellbeing – is influenced by physical and social environmental exposures, including light, temperature, noise, air quality, and psychosocial stressors such as job strain. This presentation introduces a biopsychosocial-spiritual framework for examining the sleep health exposome, emphasizing the dynamic interplay between biological processes, psychological states, physical and social environments as well as spiritual well-being in relation to sleep health across the lifespan. The talk will present conceptual models, emerging research directions, and practical implications for public health and clinical practice, aiming to advance more holistic approaches to understanding and improving sleep and its subsequent health sequelae. This seminar will be held remotely.
